RE: Defective 1/2" NPT plugs

It came to our attention during the regular Q/C inspection that some of the 1/2” NPT plugs used solely in our manifolds, part number 0994-100 and HGE7114, may have the above captioned defective plugs installed between 2004 to 2006.

These plugs were milled too deep that, as a result, it may failed prematurely and may cause a serious safety incident. The 1/2” plug is located on the top of the manifold and it is very easy to replace. ( Refer to the photo )

Although there is no safety incident reported regarding this defective plug, H&H Marine Engine Service Ltd. would like to recall for this plugs replacement.
